It’s game day! In Columbus, Ohio that means the world is stopping from noon until the last touchdown is scored by our Ohio State Buckeyes. It is the first game of the season and it is beautiful outside. We are heading to campus to watch the game with thousands of other excited fans. In preparation for what lies ahead, I decided we needed a filling and healthy breakfast.
We decided French toast sounded good and so I got to work

Sorry for the missing post yesterday, I was busy until my head hit the pillow! I started the day with a big bowl of fiber cereal with tons of fruit.
For lunch I made a veggie sandwich with hummus on sprouted wheat bread. I missed the pic because I was inhaling it before running outside for recess duty. I forgot to take my usual 3pm snack to school and I came home really hungry. I had a PB Larabar

Today flew by! It seems like my bowl of fruit and cereal was days ago, not hours. I packed a good amount of food to keep me going threw school, then to the gym, then to Trader Joes for restocking.
Lunch was leftovers salad:

romaine and spinach 1 small piece of grilled chicken TJs hummus and homemade hummus lentils peppers light feta tomatoes

The fruit that is! Under a huge bowl of fruit there is some crunchy, fiberific cereal. I started my bowl this morning with 1c. of TJ Fiber Twigs and then added 1/2 Kashi Go Lean. I woke up in the night with a HUGE charlie-horse in my calf (maybe from the new workout class) but I think I am dehydrated. It’s hard to drink so much water all day when you can’t leave your class, so I cut way back

‘Nana Topped Treats
carmel or any kind of mini rice cake peanut butter or almond butter slices of fresh banana or any fruit would work (strawberries, peaches)
